چکیده
Objective: To assess the myocardial viability on cardiac magnetic resonance imaging compared with single photon emission computed tomography scan in patients coronary artery disease.
Study Design: This study was cross sectional study.
Place and Duration of Study: Cardiac Magnetic Resonance Imaging Nuclear Medicine Departments a Tertiary Care Center Rawalpindi Pakistan, from Dec 2021 to May 2022.
Methodology: conducted December 2022 at departments Pakistan. Thirty (n=30) disease were selected using non-probability consecutive sampling technique determine viable myocardium (CMR) (SPECT) scan. Patients left ventricular dysfunction having ejection fraction equal or less than forty-five percent included.
Results: Using 20 segment models, mean number segments SPECT CMR 16.6±3.18 15.47±3.84, respectively while non-viable 3.4±3.1 5.17±4.6, respectively. There statically little difference results Single-photon Emission Computerized Tomography (p<0.05).
Conclusion: Assessment has keen role diagnostic prognostic work up who are candidates revascularization. Stunned hibernating two states oreversible dysfunction.....

MR-IMPACT II: Magnetic Resonance Imaging for Myocardial Perfusion Assessment in Coronary artery disease Trial: perfusion-cardiac magnetic resonance vs. single-photon emission computed tomography for the detection of coronary artery disease: a comparative multicentre, multivendor trial.
AIMS Perfusion-cardiac magnetic resonance (CMR) has emerged as a potential alternative to single-photon emission computed tomography (SPECT) to assess myocardial ischaemia non-invasively. The goal was to compare the diagnostic performance of perfusion-CMR and SPECT for the detection of coronary artery disease (CAD) using conventional X-ray coronary angiography (CXA) as the reference standard. ...

Materials and Methods: The Cardiac Magnetic Resonance images of sixty patients with history of remote ST segment or non-ST segment elevation myocardial infarction were ...
متن کاملBrain single-photon emission computed tomography and magnetic resonance imaging in Machado-Joseph disease.
BACKGROUND Machado-Joseph disease (MJD) is one of the most frequently encountered spinocerebellar ataxias. However, few reports on brain single-photon emission computed tomographic (SPECT) imaging (BSI) with hexylmethylpropylene amineoxine labled with technetium Tc 99m and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) have been performed for the evaluation of patients with MJD. OBJECTIVES To investigate p...
متن کاملThe Relationship Between Absence Coronary Artery Calcification and Myocardial Perfusion Single Photon Emission Computed Tomography
Background Coronary artery calcification score (CACS) is well validated prognostic tool in coronary artery disease (CAD). The data on the prevalence of myocardial ischemia on myocardial perfusion single photon emission computed tomography (MPS) in symptomatic patients with zero CACS and low to intermediate risk probability is lacking and controversial. The aim of our study was to evaluate the c...
